2008 - 2009: Developing Our Activities
During the fiscal year 2008 - 2009 aCROnordic invested extensively in the development of our business, both professionally and geographically. We have established several new business areas; we have opened an office in Finland and planned the opening of an office in Sweden; and we have strengthened our Management and Sales Organisation in order to ensure future growth.
The financial crisis has affected aCROnordic in the biotech setor, but the crisis has also resulted in the consolidation of pharmaceutical affiliates in the Nordic region, which is the reason why aCROnordic has prioritised establishing offices in the Nordic countries.
Despite the many investments, the year ended with a slightly positive result and with many more opportunities for the future.
We expect to continue consolidating and focusing on the international needs of our Nordic customers as we strive to become the leading Nordic CRO. The organisation will be grown successively, and we expect our revenue to continue to increase along with development, while our expenses will increase moderatly as we continue to build up our area of of competences.
aCROnordic expects to continue this positive development in the coming years.
