aCROnordic has made a number of organisational changes in order to strengthen our business and focus on our customers.
Birgitte Guldhammer has been promoted to President and will head up Business Operations. With her very broad background in research, product development and project management as well as her talent for and experience with general management, Birgitte will be responsible for the company’s daily operations ensuring effective and efficient business processes.
Claes Strøm has been promoted to Executive Vice President responsible for Sales and Marketing. Claes’ background as medical doctor, PhD and Business Administration graduate (HD) will allow us to strengthen our sales activities and focus on our customers. Claes will be supported by Palle Dahl, Sales Director, who with his strong inter-personal skills will now be spending 100% of his time on Sales and customer contacts.
Søren Strøh, the founder of the company, will continue as CEO. Søren has broad experience with pharmaceutical R&D from the IT, Biostatistical and Clinical Data Management perspective. The reorganisation will give Søren the opportunity to use these skills along with his visionary talent to focus on strategy and develop new business opportunities. He will also be actively involved in the development of Technical Services.
New Management Structure
An Executive Group (EG) made up of Søren Strøh, Birgitte Guldhammer, and Claes Strøm will be responsible for the company’s strategic direction. EG will be headed by Søren Strøh and supported by HR and Finance.
The Business Operations Leadership Team (BOLT) will be headed up by Birgitte Guldhammer and is now responsible for the everyday management of the business. The other BOLT members are:
· Karen Rysgaard, newly appointed Director of Clinical Operations (CO), responsible for all of CO in Denmark, Finland and Sweden (see separate article).
· Mads Engelmann, CMO, responsible for Clinical Research
· Flemming Rasmussen, Director of Finance
· Marcia Hershkovitz, Director of People and Communications
· Marianne Thisted, Project Manager
· Pia Søegaard Andersen, Project Manager
In order to strengthen our Communications both internally and externally, Marcia Hershkovitz will take on responsibility for both Communications and Human Resources in the People and Communications function. Marcia will work closely with Claes Strøm, who will continue to be responsible for Sales & Marketing Communication.
At the same time we have strengthened our Project Management focus and cross-organisational matrix organisation by including our two professional project managers in the daily management of the company as members BOLT.
